Free music at Memorial Park
Lake Cumberland Fall Fest is free, it's at Monticello-Wayne County Memorial Park, and it runs October 23–24. Craig Morgan and Alex Miller headline Saturday. Confirm showtimes and lineup on Kentucky Living — organizers double-check before publish and before you go. See also the Wayne County events calendar.
At the park — and in town
Food trucks will be on the fest grounds. Fest on-site trucks are TBD by organizers — we do not invent grounds vendor names. For cabin guests heading into Monticello (not claiming these stops are on the park), confirmed local truck options to verify live for Oct 23–24:
- Taqueria Emanuel — 950 N Main — strongest Fri–Sat fixed truck stop
- Tucks Smoke Shack — Stated hours Wed–Fri only → Fri Oct 23 yes / Sat Oct 24 no
- Tasty Little Food
- Cuzz + Buds
- Granny’s Funnel Cakes
- The Lemon Lab
Sit-down before or after
Hometown tables — no chains — when you want a plate before the show or a late bite after the music:
- Black Stallion — 1215 N Main Ste 3
- Dos Amigos — 211 Cumberland Crossing
- El Cazador — 75 Walmart Plaza Ste 6
- El Buen Gusto — 1500 N Main #208
- Riverbend Grilling — 862 S Main
- City Pool Hall — 11 S Main
- 606 Fix & Mix — 10 S Main
Coming off the lake
Boating in from Conley Bottom or Fall Creek? Give yourself time to trailer, drive into Monticello, and find parking before Saturday's show. If there's been rain, a fall boat ride toward 76 Falls can be a nice day-tripper aside — then swing into town for supper. Optional at Conley: The Boathouse — call ahead on seasonal hours.
For families
Look for the Trick or Treat Trail, Kids Zone, and pumpkin painting on the fest grounds — confirm times with organizers via the Kentucky Living Fall Fest listing.
Same weekend nearby
Friday Night Thunder in Somerset on the 23rd (Kentucky Living), and Somernites Cruise downtown on the 24th (Kentucky Living). Monticello still works as home base if you're splitting the weekend.
Saturday morning Oct 24
Before daytime fest hours or a day-tripper run:
- OMG Donuts
- Donut Palace
- Happy Hoppers
- Wayne County Farmers Market — Harper Drive · 8a–12p
