About the place

Seventy-Six Falls is a classic Lake Cumberland roadside park and attraction in Clinton County, Kentucky — a short drive from Albany and a scenic boat ride from the main lake. Named for the original 76-foot drop, the falls are lower today (about 38 feet) because of lake backwater from Wolf Creek Dam, but the cascade, cliff, and green cove are still a cabin-week favorite. Picnic tables, a shelter overlooking the water, and a historical marker make it easy for families on the road; by boat, pontoons and swimmers gather below the falls on warm days. No lifeguard — watch kids, mind boat traffic, and never dive into unknown depth. Pair the stop with Monticello food after you leave the water.
